What Effect Do We Have? As humans we largely impact the world around us and it's environment. Regions that have become inhabited by humans have changed a great deal from how they were before. One of the major impacts that we have on this region is deforestation. Deforestation is caused by an increase in economy, population, and building of infrastructure. As everything begins to advance and there is a larger demand for things. More people use the land to grow and eventually the overuse of the land leaves it barren Which is on of the main reasons for the large depletion of natural resources in the region.

Deforestation doesn't just deplete the land of it resources it also disrupt the habitat of the animals, the climate and the water cycle of the region. The building of dams, ports, and water are affecting water flow and quality while also disrupting the water cycle. Because the water is not able to regulate itself some areas might dry out and cause the animals there to die. Also forests burn because there is less rain in the dry Amazon River Delta and because of all the pollution it becomes more susceptible to the fire.
Acid rain is another big issue caused by the pollution in the highly populated areas and it is destroying the habitats as well. There are CFCs and other gasses that are more toxic in the area which is causing the environment to die around the region. Also global warming and greenhouse effect are causing temperatures to rise in the region as well which is also causing many animals to die due to not having an environment suitable for them. The region is rapidly being depleted of it's resources and animals and is destroying the habitats. |
